Background

After completing the ORMs Direct ecommerce website (see casestudy), ORMs Photolab asked Refresh to build the community site – ORMs Connect.

What we did

Refresh was involved in building this WordPress site, which went through several design and development iterations. The project was managed by Matt Visser who did an excellent job helping to deliver something that all stakeholders are proud of. Peter Letho at Refresh handled most of the development and solved many of the technical issues.

Main features

• Fully categorised articles and blog functionality, allowing posts on all photography topics
• “Ask a Pro” section, which allows users to tag and submit photography questions to the ORM’s team of featured professionals
• Wide range of photo galleries, allowing photographers to showcase their work
• Sophisticated discussion functionality allowing commenting through social logins such as facebook and twitter
