Refresh designed and developed the original InvestRight tool in 2008, and in 2011 Old Mutual asked Refresh to rebuild this tool to enable it to function on all new devices including the Apple iPad.

What we did

Refresh redesigned the interface according to the new Old Mutual identity guidelines. The tool is built completely with HTML, CSS and Javascript to allow full functionality on all browsers.

All user input is touch enabled to allow for easy navigation on all screen types. A voice-over accompanies each page to give extra information how to use the tools.

The results screen offers an interactive graph, which adjusts based on various user inputs. After generating the results the data can be seamlessly passed to Old Mutual’s online application form by clicking apply online. Leads are then passed to the Old Mutual Unit Trust Sales Team. There is also a facility to speak to the Sales Team through an online chat facility or by asking for a call back.

The Fund Selection Tool takes user input and generates a matrix of the most suitable Old Mutual funds available.

Options to adjust your risk profile and investment terms are available, and you are also able to download more information on the fund sets.
