Background
After a discussion in an UBuntu Bridge Xhosa class, we decided to partner in creating a Xhosa Language learning app with Refresh providing the design and development, and UBuntu Bridge providing the video content.
The Work
Using Xamarin.Forms as the mobile development framework, we built an app that allows the user to watch free video content (Downloaded to their device) and purchase a coupon to unlock other videos in the language learning course.
The app was created for both Android and iOS – search “Ubuntu Bridge” on iTunes to find the iOS app. Watch this space for the Zulu language app coming soon!
